London olympics

LONDON OLYMPICS 2012 !!!!!!!!!

(promoting and supporting our nation through nail designs)

This is my nail design inspired by the Olympics 2012,

union jack and team GB
Olympic rings
London 2012

i enjoyed creating this special design for the Olympics and love the finished look, but it did take a lot
or time and equipment !
  •   dotting tools
  • nail art brushes
  • top and base coat
  • white, blue, red, green, yellow and black nail polish

This is my instructions to completing this design : hope it is helpful to you :)

·         Firstly i painted all my nails in NO.7 pool side blue, (double coat for full colour).

·         Secondly using Barry m Matt white nail polish i painted a thin and straight line on baby finger in vertical direction and left to dry.

·         Once dried still using white polish i painted a straight line my index and fourth finger in a horizontal direction, left to dry.
Then for the thumb design: i painted it in white (double for full colour)
(Then this was the tricky part) to create the Olympic rings, i used (blue, black, red, yellow and green) i used a small thin nail art brush and drew three circles blue, black, and red on top, and yellow and green on the bottom, but make sure the yellow circle is in-between and on-top of blue and black. The green circle is in-between and under the black but over the red.

For the fourth and index nail design: when the white dried i used a thin nail art brush i painted a thin, straight line on the top of the white rectangle-liked shape.
Then i used a black nail art pen and wrote the letters GB (representing great Britain as the Olympics is held in London.
