Happy Halloween!!!!!

This is my nail art designed inspired by HALLOWEEN!
i will admit it this design took a lot of time and effort but the finished outcome was great!
i tried to add different designs that linked with Halloween. such as webs and spiders but still making it look like a pattern of designs.

this is my list of equipment i used to create this spooky design!
  • white nail polish (Barry m) and nail art pen (models own)
  • orange nail polish (Barry m)
  • black nail polish (Barry m)
  • dotting tools
  • A small nail art brush

this is my instructions to help you create these different designs.
  1. firstly i painted my nails with a base coat for protection.
  2. secondly i painted my thumb, index and fourth nails in two coats of black from Barry m. (double coats give you more coverage.
  3. my middle finger nail i painted double coat of white nail polish.
  4. and finally my last finger nail i painted one coat of bright orange from Barry m.
for my thumb design, i used my white nail art pen (models own) to write BOO! and underneath the word i drew a little white ghost.

For my middle finger i used a nail art brush which was dipped in orange nail polish and i drew pumpkin, for the eyes and mouth i used black nail art pen (for more precision)

for my index and fourth nails used the white nail art pen again and drawn a web design on half on my nails. with the other half i drew a little spider to make it look like it was coming down from the web,

finally for my little finger nail i used a small sized dotting tool and dipped in black nail polish and placed random dots to make it look like classic polka dots.

But remember to paint your topcoat once all your nails are dry this will help prevent chipping.
I hope all those instructions were helpful to you, giving you inspiration.

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month !!!!!

I recently found out that it is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.so i thought i should show my support in the best way i can. This is through my nail art designs.
The main design on my nails is the ribbon. That iconic pink ribbon is a symbol for breast cancer awareness, fund raising and research.

I hope i have inspired others to create this design or an even better one to show your support, if you want to make this statement throughout this month just follow my instructions below:
The equipment i used was:
·         Base and top coat
·         White nail polish (Matt white from Barry M)
·         Dark fuchsia pink (Barry M)
·         Light pink (pinky pure NO.7)
·         Also if you are a beginner in nail art then i suggest a nail art brush (thin tip)

Here are my instructions to creating this design:
1.   Firstly i painted my base coat and left to dry
2.   Secondly once dried i painted my third, little and thumb nail in two coats of pinky pure (NO.7) and left to dry, with this nail colour it is best to do a double coat for full coverage.
3.   Then whilst those nails are drying i painted my fourth and index finger nails with a French manicure (basically using the white nail polish just paint your nail tips. However if you fear you can’t do it neatly (like me sometimes) there are nail guides you can buy. Once that’s finished i left them all to dry.
4.   Then using my nail art brush (thin tip, the thin tip will make it look neater) and dipped it in the fuchsia pink and started to draw the symbol. (the way i drew the symbol was, to start of with a diagonal line from your end of the manicure to the cuticle, then slowly create a circle and then go back down in the opposite diagonal direction.
5.  Then finally once it’s all dried i painted my topcoat to give it a little shine. (always make sure that the symbol is facing the right way up)

And there is your instructions, so i hope it was helpful and support "National breast cancer awareness month" by showing off your beautifully inspired nails !!!!
